Woolworths gift card thread

little more worried regarding the only1 visa cards as today I had 2 be declined where i believed they should be unused. I didnt have any other full amounts to try.

Has anyone used them in the past day or so?

I used one online, about 30 mins ago looked like it went through. Just gone to check the balance and it shows up as pending transaction so all fine here.

I guess I am the only one. It might be because I may have locked the card from trying to check balances online.. will see how i go with the cards tomorrow

i bit the bullet and "paid $3" for the call which I dont think i was charged at all because the card I quoted had $0 balance.
The operator said they are aware of the issue with the website and are working on fixing it. In the meantime we would have to call up and ask. I asked whether or not we would still be charged the $1 for the call and he said the fee would be waived but he didnt sound so sure.

What I'd advise is to call up and enter a card number where it has $0 balance and pick option #1 (to dispute a transaction). Then once you have the operator, go ask for account balances on different cards.

Thanks to everyone for the updates. Been building up my inventory for the next BAS (what has chasing points done to me?!). Might hold off from buying anymore until this is sorted out. Whilst Blackhawk might be ok and Woolies may stand behind these cards if it fails, I don't want to find out the hard way.

anyone with a only1 visa card able to check their account balance online? mine are failing for some reason and calling them to check the balance costs $1..


I just checked and mine are all good online. Maybe the glitch is over? Note I did not check during the period that others indicated where it was not working.

I can buy physical wish cards from the Tassie motoring group RACT @ 5% off but they only take VISA

I concur. Now working.

Keen to dump my remaining Visa ONLY 1 cards just in case this issue is symptomatic of a larger problem.

just buy the wish e-giftcard, then go into woolies and grab a wish physical gift card, and get them to load it to your desired denomination, and pay via e-giftcard. I do it every fortnight to fill up at caltex

Only just started again after buying so many perfect gift cards and Coles Gift MasterCard's and filling up at Coles express at 14c/24c off :)

Only those with a Woolworths store accept e-Gift cards. If it is a StarMart, you need a physical card.

Not sure about pickup. NRMA takes Amex for physical card delivery.
 
What promotion is there for 14c/24c of Coles express. I'm only away of the 4c docket plus 10c for purchasing items in store that total $20 or greater
