Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Opal used to count towards offer targets despite being excluded in the t&c but late last year WW finally fixed that loophole. Previously if you had an offer of spend 60 for 250 points, you could just top up $60 of Opal to receive the 250 plus 30 points for spend over $30. After the 'fix' you only received 30 points.

All of my offers upto the end of 2015 counted Opal purchases towards the totals. This was at the same time that other offers reported here had T&Cs that excluded Opal. The T&Cs on my offers definitely did not exclude Opal. I don't know why I was lucky, but I wasn't going to argue.

A mistake anyone can make as the 'U' is so close to the 'A' on the keyboard.

We all need to go the grammar thread. Or at least the proof reading thread! ;)

you must use a different keyboard. on a qwerty keyboard the only letters further away from A than U are I,O,P, L, K and M. So only 19 letters closer to A than U.

I am not sure pop fiction references are really about grammar. YMMV

I saw sarcasm in this post.... or was that just me?

Maybe time for a pedant thread for you, medhead ;).

Nope. Won't waste time explaining my analysis, but I did analyse and I can't see how sarcasm could possibly work.

that'd be good. But given people around here still can't understand my pedantic point about "Subtly every aircraft is different" being stupid, I'm not sure how a pedant thread would work. ;)

I am in the same boat as Exceladdict

I cut up my EDR card and I am happy with Coles. WW can go jump. They just ran a hardware business into the ground so they don't need my hard earned age pension to prop up their grocery business.

I wonder how Masters would have performed if they had given QFF points on purchases; and a few bonus offers?

It probably would have failed, since it was rumoured the pricing model did not have sufficient margin to pay for QFF points.

$3b would have purchased a lot of points; and maybe they could have increased their prices a little (mostly dearer than Bunnings at my local store anyway).

I keep using the EDR card - but only to accumulate the 4 cents / litre fuel discount. The points situation is ridiculous - 2 recent shops with a total over $700 and not a single cent in rebates.....

Now spent $3,000+ and have $2.00 on ww pesos.

Not happy Jan (nor Dec, Nov, Oct....) as QFF points are mostly missing as well. All I need now is a spare 6 or 7 hours to spend chasing them up.

Masters failed because they didn't a trade section for the tradies like most Bunnings do.
Masters failed because they listens to Lowes who have no idea about the Australian market and mirrored the Lowes US stores (which have their own problems) and didn't listen to the local experts, such as the person who sold Magnet Mart to Woolworths.
