As the subject says, the LX RTW Business fare doesn't show up in a fare search with either KVStool or on Expertflyer.com?

We are keen to use the fare but I don't have fare rules? Am I missing something?

Cheers,
Barrie

Are you referring to the *A RTW Fares, published by LX, or some other LX RTW Fares?

If it's the latter, can you please provide some details of that Fare including origin point(s)?

The LX fare is actually a point to point fare. Same for the LH fares.

Search by the european city you want to arrive in ie. SYD/BCN.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Re: Wondering why the Swiss RTW fare does't show up in KVStool or Expertflyer fare se

Sorry, this is a question about a cheap international airfare but I am still confused.

LX have a SYD/ZRH fare for

[KVS Availability Tool 6.3.0/Diamond - Galileo: Fares/PSH/RU]

SYD Sydney Kingsford Smith NS AU [YSSY]
ZRH Zurich CH [LSZH]
R/T 01 Dec 2011 | Business

LX SYD ZRH 6070 AUD 360 ZICSWIAU

Which is cheap. The TA says we can come home via the US on UA but I can't see how the fare rules allow travel to region 1?

Cheers,
Barrie

Not on that Fare:
...

Actually yes, there are three valid routings:
EH (Eastern Hemisphere) via Asia
TS (Trans Siberian via Japan/Korea
AP (Atlantic Pacific) via US or South America

The other routings are:

/BETWEEN AREAS 2 AND 3 VIA SIBERIA WITH NONSTOP BETWEEN EUROPE AND JAPAN OR KOREA/
1. SYD-JL/QF-TYO-ZRH
2. SYD-QF-ADL/ASP/BNE/CBR/CNS/DRW/HBA/MEL/PER-JL/QF-TYO-ZRH

/VIA THE ATLANTIC AND PACIFIC/
1. SYD-AC/QF/UA-DFW/LAX/SFO/YVR-CHI/NYC/YMQ/YTO-ZRH
2. SYD-AC/QF/UA-DFW/LAX/SFO/YVR-CHI/TPA/YMQ/YTO-ZRH
3. SYD-AC/QF/UA-DFW/LAX/SFO/YVR-NYC-GVA-ZRH
4. SYD-QF-BUE-JJ/LX-SAO-ZRH
5. SYD-QF-BUE/SCL-JJ/LX-SAO-ZRH
