Hope AJ's bonuses were paid in QF shares so he could really share the pain.
Nearly choked on my Weetbix when he apologised the other day for the call centre wait times due to Covid 19 - he must know that wait times have been below third world standards for years now under his watch, so it's insulting to think that he hasn't passed a message down the line to get it fixed.

More a case of saying to the public that haven’t had the need to contact the call centre previously.

The vast bulk of his $24m year was from the vesting of share rights (issued at about $1 and vested at $6). Don't believe he's sold many

Unlike some other people: "Ummm, no. Ummm, maybe. Ummm, OK, yes. Ummm, sorry!".
but how much is that? perhaps, like many CEO's most of their 'pay packet' is share options rather than a salary.

But they're only valuable if the share price has gone up.
In the oft talked about $24m year that was from lots of rights issued at $1 vesting with share price at $6...
This year he will possibly have a few tranches from prior years with strikes at $4/5/6 that are now worthless
In contrast JB at VAH didn't have any big years because the share price kept on going down.
