Won a (model) A380

Just wanted to share - got a phone call from Qantas saying I'd won a model of the A380 as a consolation prize in the "win a ride in the 380" promotion that was advertised recently.

Doesnt come until January.

I got a phone call at 1602 hours yesterday and won one of the Grand prizes.Looks like Qantas will allow the prize transfer so that my wife and daughter can go to London. Good on them! I have plenty of trips with NY/Chicago coming up soon:shock: (cccold!!) Results in Australian on the 17th.

That must be the reason, i wonder why they did not think to page me in the SIN Flounge
Oh well they better be quick i need to catch CX716 to HKG in a couple of minutes.

I was reading this thread yesterday and then got home to be told QANTAS had called and would be calling back later.

They did...and asked me if I wouldn't mind answering some survey questions about the way they handled a recent complaint of mine.

I was sorely disappointed...

Did you tell them they handled it so poorly that the only way they could make up for it is giving you a seat on the A380?
