Mid next month the flights for the final leg of my flight plan will be open and I hope to book online with my Qantas FF Amex card. I don't have enough points to warrent using them this year, but would like the points from a $4500-5000 booking.
So, my schedule reads like this: 1. Sydney-Santiago (Chile) ...cruise to Miami
2. Miami -LAX and 3. LAX - Sydney

Using Expedia I got a price of around $2300 recently, this morning Qantas quoted me $3600

Can anyone recommend a booking site other than Expedia who hare reliable and where I can use my Amex card?
Thanks so much,
Kinka

did you try using the qantas multi-city booking for this? simply go to qantasdotcom and select 'international' next to 'multi-city'. then enter your destinations and dates.

i tried a dummy booking for the itinerary you provided departing May 20th and it returned a price of $1587 (in Y) inclusive - there appears to be a sale on at present.

Why not use a TA to book it.

If it's a gross fare, they can charge your AMEX directly through to QF without surcharge.
