Window seats

I usually prefer the aisle (not isle) but I may change my mind,

***Unless you're over 5'5" in which case, you'd have to crane your neck so low you'd be classed as a contortionist to see out the window

I'm 6'3" and I have no chance of seeing out a window. Even the 787 windows I have to twist around to see out of if i'm seated next to them.

I find that looking at the view from the window opposite (single aisle) or the closest window (wide body; I always sit in the middle block of seats as a rule) is just as good, baring any window 'hogs'.

I like looking out the windows, and leaning on the wall to try to sleep. But getting a good picture is a lot harder than it looks. I have managed a few decent shots of cities over the years.

Would swap for any sky bed any day but...
 
Amazing photos!, I love the window seat but I usually have to give it up to the missus who gets airsick easily.
 
I select my seat on each flight based on my mood, flight time, duration of flight, class of travel and most important - expected booziness.

Yep, nothing worse than breaking the seal and needing to constantly ask your seat mates to let you out ;)
