Wi-Fi Finder App for iPhone/iPad

I've noticed some threads on AFF mentioning the high fees some hotels charge for wi fi so a free app called "Wi-Fi Finder" might be of interest.
It will pinpoint wi-fi hot spots nearest to you and provide the address.

Does this just prompt you re what networks are around you offering to connect? If so, this is built into WP8.

Haven't tried it OS yet but it's supposed to locate hotspots available in a particular area you select rather than just in the immediate area where you are.
