What is it exactly that they can't/won't do anymore?

Putting an OSI in each pnr cross referencing each pax with the other or doing a seat selection FOC for a non status pax because they're travelling with a PS/SG/WP pax who is eligible for FOC seating?

ISTR someone here who currently works for Amadeus saying that reservations add an SK element with the other pnr into each booking to 'link' both pnrs.

When were you last able to get Row 4 as a Plat only.
Since the introduction of P1, they have definitely been blocked to WPs, albeit do sometimes open at T-80

I managed on a flight over to ZQN at the end of July. I hit WP in SIN at the start of June. Once my status had rolled over I logged into my ZQN booking and snagged 4A/C for Mrs_O and I, with my shadow protecting 4B.

Haven't been able to do it since though. I have row 6 on a domestic whY booking. Are international 737 routes different to domestic ones when it comes to seat blocks for P1s/CLs?

As it was indicated to me, itineraries booked together are auto-linked, but there was a new policy not to link separate bookings

Prior to the introduction of P1, weren't they still available for CL's only until T-80?

International has generally been different. Also was your flight within 80 hours when you did the change.

On a similar note, to be voluntarily denied boarding in DXB for QF10 DXB-MEL due to being oversold, they had to seek special permission to be able to offload me (WP). The system wouldn't let them do it until the offload was done on their behalf by QF SYD ops.

As a WP I have always been able to select the "BEST" J seats on international flights at time of booking so I suspect WP+ have same access to seat selection ... and let's keep it that way.
