Why not stockpile AA points

I did buy 2 lots of AA miles for family members tonight. With the exchange rate running between 0.76 and 0.77 and a 115,000 bonus it looked alright to hit up my US Citibank CC.

Was there a sweet spot for the double purchase to get the maximum bonus? Offer ends tomorrow.

Yes there is and you use a calculator to decide. I went for the biggest and best (provided the $AUD doesn't go up a lot). It is your call on what you can afford I think

From memory, the Point Hacks guy put the sweet spot on the purchase of the max points which gives you the 115,000 bonus points.
