I've become a big fan of EK on SIN-BNE, departing at 330p arriving 1245a, home by 130a.

Would love it if they had this to MEL as well, they do from KUL, but having to travel to KUL first rather defeats the purpose.

I also love the SQ day flights down to Australia I usually don't even take a day off to take this flight, as I can work well on the plane catching up on things.

I assume the reason the QF don't have these is probably due to lack of connecting traffic. Unlike SQ, CX, TG etc they don't have early morning arrivals from Europe, North Asia or India to feed to the service. At SIN, to feed from 3K's network across SE Asia, probably earliest you could leave would be around midday, which, especially in summer, really pushes the SYD curfew. Having said that I'd love a 7 am departure from MEL to feed into a 2pm departure from SIN on the return ...
