Quick one. I have an issue with an Amb Weekend cert posting (as non qualifying). Should I call the Australian IHG Rewards number, or the US Ambassador number? If the US number, what's a good time to call?

I have all but given up on IHG as they are pretty much non responsive.

Though I do believe there is a link via the web site for incorrect postings.

Ring the Oz number, it will route you to the Ambassador centre as soon as you put your number in. Should solve the problem in a matter of minutes.

I had the exact same problem last time I used a voucher. I just sent off a missing points request from the website and it was fixed the next day

I thought I'd close the loop on this, and let you know the outcome. I had used the online form, but never received any feedback (and to this day, I have not heard back). So I rang the Australian number, which was oddly answered as the Ambassador line, before I'd even input a number. Anyway, the operator fixed the problem (well not quite, but good enough). Only got a credit for a single night, rather than the two I had previously got out of an auto-post. Anyway, there was a points discrepancy, but given the 'closing accounts' discussion, I choose not to bring too much attention to my account!
