Hi All

For my 500th post, I thought I'd ask a question.

I'm travelling to SIN from SYD next week in J (A380 both ways).

Booked and paid for with the Westpac KF AMEX, so extra points there, but I have a dilemma.

For the last 2 years, I've credited all my SQ flying to VS, attaining and retaining Silver with them. That gives me some options with DJ (Premium check-in about all) should I need it, but I'm thinking there might be another status match opportunity down the track (please?).

Now VS has changed the Flying Club rules, and my trip to SIN will not be enough to retain Silver. Should I continue to credit to VS in the hope that I take a longer flight on DJ that gets me the additional 5 tier credits I need, or should I credit to KF, with no hope of higher status, but potential to use the points on DJ after the alliance is settled? Thoughts?

Thanks!

I have been travelling on SQ Kris points too and despite zero status the J and First flights and lounges have all been excellent.Sometimes that status thingy is not truly important.

I tend to agree, which is why I'm leaning to crediting to SQ KF ready for the arrangements with DJ. I've got no status, but the SilverKris lounge in SIN is fantastic, and I plan to use the NZ lounge in Sydney.

Thank
