About 80% company paid for the past 6 years, but with a new job, this will change. I doubt I will do better than Silver from here on. Bugger it.;)

I have managed 340* QF SC's and 100 DJ SC's through personal travel since August.

*Well it will be 340 SC's when my AKL-SYD flight finally posts!!

Mrsdrron is all on leisure travel and mine is too except for 4 MEL-DPO-MEL flights a year.

All my flying is personal as the commute is not classed as business travel.

All self funded and all holidays - usually managed to retain gold, but hit WP for the first time thanks to an Aone4 this year and all those lovely F domestic sectors in the USA. Our travel was curtailed in the past due to funding 3 kids as well, but now we are nearly empty nesters and in the process of closing down our business we are looking forward to a lot more travel and hopefully LTG.

90% of flying is business travel... but only 30% of SCs accumulated as Bus travel is all Y

Was 90% work for last FF year. I doubt I will maintain it

Very likely to be posted via iPhone or iPad :)

All self funded and roughly 75% leisure or a bit higher as I often combine work trips with leisure afterwards if I can

Not strictly based on holiday travel, but relocating to China and a couple of long distance holidays have gotten me up to OZ Diamond/*A Gold level. Entirely self funded. I'd say I have a decent chance of maintaining as well.

i'm completely self funded these days, yet somehow managed to get:
- Qantas Plat + Partner Gold
- Velocity Plat.
- Rydges Plat.
- Le Accor Plat.
- Priority Club Plat.

... Yes, I fly and stay in hotels a lot!

Since retiring 4 years ago I have hit the SM Super fund and all travel is leisure. Should have done it a lot earlier.

My QF WP status for the last 4 years has been from personal travel. First got SG about 9 years ago with a lot of work travel, but since 2007 has been all personal.

My DJ WP status (plus partner platinum, plus pooled platinum) was about 95% work (apart from a couple of DL flights in F).

Now fly QF for work, so this is going t switch around - will probably mean I don't get any partner or pooled status with DJ now. But might get 2400 with QF.

I agree thank-you GFC for making running a business unviable and making me realise it was time to retire!

I'm self funded. 100% of my travel has been for Leisure for the past 2 years and will continue to be from now on.

Even all my business travel was funded by me as the business owner.

I have also 'funded' WP1 status for my Ex +1, Son and P.A. Also WP status for about 6 Ex employees.

Boss

What do you guys think the minimum spend one has to make to get WP on QF?

All self funded here.

My wife and I are both PS 100% leisure.

We do a few trips a year to Sydney maybe one trip a year to Alice Springs and normally a trip to Brisbane to see the outlaws at christmas.

We have a USA trip coming up in August next year (first time flying J) will probably do a small status run and try and crack SG.

QF Gold all self funded. Would love to try and reach platinum, but I think being a student makes that financially difficult!
