Please stop replying everyone. We've reached troll territory here now. This is obvious baiting for replies.
"I buy $1,000 American-made boots" and when they're not good enough, I buy $1,000 Canadian boots. I do this in the middle of a cost of living crisis and I support the most corrupt terrorist administration in living history while doing so. I don't care about keeping the card I am constantly whinging about wanting to keep because I am intending to replace it with the most expensive credit card in the market just so I can show it off when I buy my Trump watch, my Trump Sneakers and my Trump NFT trading cards to go with my $1,000 boots.
If this isn't blatant troll territory, then I don't know what is. Stop replying.
MyCard Premier, expiry 03/28. No annual fee has appeared in my statements to date.
Mine hasn't expired... Like the new design?Just got the new replacement Mycard Premier in the post, as my old Citibank premier expires this month
Mmm. Baby poo colour. Love it.Mine hasn't expired... Like the new design?
I also got one last year, when they needed to make the Suncorp brand disappear immediately. It was so generic it could have been some EFTPOS gift cards.Mmm. Baby poo colour. Love it.
So why close it, just keep it in the bottom draw just in case since there is no annual fee.Sad to say, I've officially closed mine yesterday after all these years. Moving my daily driver to the HSBC visa star alliance card. Figured the points earned there gets me more value than transfering to VFF. Just for reference did not get charged annual fee as well.
One's ability to obtain loans elsewhere is impacted by having an open credit card.So why close it, just keep it in the bottom draw just in case since there is no annual fee.
The HSBC card has a 20k limit and mycard is 15k. Closing it allows me to free my credit for future CC applications. So why close it, just keep it in the bottom draw just in case since there is no annual fee.

Actually, it's easy to do it online. I've had mine at $10k for several years now, after being in the $60k range under Citi. You can call up and they will reduce it to 10k
Yeah but that's still $10k limit I do not want. I don't mind losing it as the card is a former shell of its Citibank self. Better for me to get a new signature card in few months. You can call up and they will reduce it to 10k

Can you fill in more with what you mean about a change for 1:1 to 0.75:1 for Velocity for online transactions? On my FFL Premier card I am still seeing 1:1 (2:1 earn, then 1:2 redeem).I’m getting a keeper card with travel insurance soon so that aspect is gone. The 1:1 velocity for online was a standout. I’m not sure if the 0.75:1 is as good.
