As long as you book the EK F flight via QF, you will get QFF Lounge access.
I thought all EK customers got F lounge tickets regardless of how it was booked ?
In any case - I have to make sure the lounge is open lol

With EK F and QFF Lounge access, I think it needs to be QF marketed BP for access.
Will check.

You can upgrade at check in and even asking the CSM when you board. Price is the same at both points as I've never known Emirates to offer discount upgrades J to F.
I have flown F on EK a number of times and whilst it is nice to be able to poke out your chest and put on our DYKWIA face, in all honesty, its not really worth it. The suites arent really all that they are cracked up to be, some say a little claustrifobic (its early morning, you try spelling that), not really very social if travelling with a partner or spouse, ie the centre rows, whilst you are sitting together you are actually about 1 metre away from each other. That is...dont try saying sweet nothings unless you do it at about 75 decibels and want the rest of the cabin to hear. Its a 50 metre walk down to the back to get to the bar. Thats the good things, now for the downside. LOL.
On the other hand the J product is very good and like someone else has posted, dont fly F one way and Y return. Go J bothways.
Thanks for your thoughts.
I will be flying alone this time but good to know that EK a380 F is not couple friendly. Will have to try the SQ double suite for that it seems.
I've made my mind up to go for F, just sussing out which way is best. My international long-hauls the last few years have been 60/40 split between Y/J so I've experienced J many times (on QF and SQ). F I have never flown before on any airline. EK's a380 F whilst not to everyones liking is actually considered amongst the worlds best according to many sources so I just gotta try it for myself
Though with that said, I reckon on the way I will have wished I went for J both ways though lol
....and after all that I'm finding it hard to A380 availability on EK F.
However plenty of availability on QF1 it seems.
If I'm on a J* flight from MEL connecting to QF1 in SYD would I able to use both F lounges ?
Not quite a suite but I'm sure its not so bad. Still I will keep looking for EK as my dates are fairly flexible.
