Hi,
First time gold and I'll be travelling to/from LAX (VA) and then to SEA on DL (VA number).

What lounge do I get access to in LAX?

The following page states I get access to the AirNZ lounge, but that doesn't sound right given the termination of their partnership with AirNZ

But according to this page, I get access to the Emirates lounge, which seems odd given QF's partnership with EK.

Thanks!

You will have access to Emirates lounge when departing LAX to return back to Australia. You should be able to access Delta Skyclub for your flight to SEA.

The first link you posted is a news story (from several years ago), and the info in it is no longer current. The second link is the reliable one.

Yes, you will get access to the EK lounge at LAX on your way back to Aus. I know it seems odd, but EK doesn't have any flights in the evening, so their lounge officially closes in mid afternoon. Then VA basically rents it and operates it for a few hours from 5pm onwards, during which time it's available to VA pax only. Similarly, VA pax do not get access earlier in the day when it's officially open as an Emirates lounge. Bear the 5pm opening in mind if you have a long transit on the way back.

As Ross B said, you are entitled to Delta SkyClub access in LAX prior to your connecting flight to SEA, and again in SEA on the way back.

Just flew through LAX again last week, needless to say they are still doing the AMAZING Lamb Cutlets and tried the Chicken & Mushroom Pie in the Emirates Lounge.......fantastic as well!

On a side note, flew into LAX from LHR with Virgin Atlantic, the transfer from T2 to TBIT was pretty easy considering what I expected. Once bags collected and Customs cleared, immediately on exit (on your right hand side) is the baggage transfer desk, a helpful greeter does 'shout' in a loud voice in the general direction of everyone exiting customs which helps. Drop bags (literally) and away you go for a nice leisurely stroll to TBIT. No need to check in as BP's given at LHR for LAX to SYD.

LAX Amex centurion website now says “soon” for opening date instead of early 2020. Reports say it looks finished and you can see through the windows. I hope they are open in 15 days!! Their alcohol license is still listed as pending though. I’m wondering if that’s the last box to be ticked?
