G'day,

Been surfing around the site for a while, first post. I have a few questions:

I have 500,000 points on Amex and 150,000 points CBA MC and 100,000 Citi Platinum Visa....

Also have 300,000 points QF but would rather use a different program for CC points.

Q1. What is the best Frequent Flyer program to get...

A. Flights to Europe - Economy Ugrade to Business
B. Flights to Asia - Bangkok, KL, HK and Singapore with connecting flights to Islands etc - Business
C. Actually get on a flight without 12 months notice and go direct (I tried to book to London with QF and the only return flight plan took 3 1/2 days!)

I was thinking Flying Club but I don't know.

Q2. If you were starting from scratch which Credit Card would you get and why?

Q3. Are there any hotel chains that are worth spending points on for rooms or upgrades? Most I have looked at are not good value.

Thanks

CB:)

When you talk about best - do you mean availability or "price" in terms of points+surcharges?

"Best" = Least amount of points for the most utility.

"Utility" = Getting on flights to prime locations at reasonable times.
