Which airline has the best livery, and of course, the worst!

Ugliest- there are many out which are plain ugly but I absolutely despise the bare metal or grey look that many US airlines have adopted

Thought the 1950s' industrialist retro look is in vogue again..

I always thought this was pretty smart ....

oo! One of the examples of the 747s without usable over-wing exit doors!!! (I think CX was one of the only other ones to only have 8 main cabin exits as well?)

Of course not possible on the -400 series (because the rear doors would be under water if the plane say slid off the runway on takeoff into the sea or something - so they have to have all 10)

This retro US Air A319 N745VJ in Allegheny Airlines livery. This was back in 2009 when we were onboard our NWA flight from LGA to MSY. La Luardia Airport was quite an appropriate back drop because the airport itself doesn't look list it's made it out of the sixties.

I love Fiji airways new livery, sorry it won't let me upload a picture for some reason.

Here's one I spotted in MIA of all places an ex "Fly Guam" bird. or should I say fish......

It looked amazingly dodgy.

Here's its history, no wonder it looked dodgy, because it is!

Yes its funny isn't it - when you look at the overall history of its former owners/operators its like that one was made on Fri the 13th 1988, and they dropped a mirror onto a black cat underneath a ladder while opening an umbrella inside the production line....

And that tail artwork! Windows 98 called and they want their screen saver back!

Saw this bird today.

It's a match made in heaven, cough football team and a cough airline :)ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1384373823.644543.jpg

I can't speak for the football team but the general opinion these days is that garuda is a very good airline (source ausbt amongst others).

I must admit, the new American livery is growing on me. I'm sure it will date very quickly, but it looks quite sleek and minimalist at the moment. Almost Apple inspired.

Talking of cough football teams.....

This Etihad A330 visited Brisbane a few months ago which was in Manchester United Livery.

Actually I don't know whether they're a cough team or not because I don't follow English Premier League Football. :p
