are there any sites for buying discounted domestic business class fares (for Japan).

Never found any except maybe one or 2 in Japanese but some local agents in Japan have some english and will book you without fuss at discount rates.
Not an easy task i have discovered to get F/J on Japan.

Thanks Evan, we are flying (starclass), with skis etc, then will use JAL air passes (and probably pay the excess luggage Narita to Sapporo).
Just looking at the possible options (like Class J, or Takyyubin courier etc).

I had the air pass earlier this year on JAL - When you check in for the domestic flight you can upgrade for 1000 YEN to J class and get J class pts and SC make sure you give them your QFF number.

If flying from HND to CTS or to ITM you can upgrade to F class for Y8000. F class only aviable from HND to ITM/CTS not to NRT. Only able to do upgrade to both J and F if there are seats. JAL J class just gives you more leg space no food and only one or two drinks, but you get the SC and Pts which is good for Yen1000!!
