In Sydney now after a bumpy flight. We are waiting for our spot to become vacant as another plane is there. Have to get through customs etc for a flight to Adelaide at 10.40. Fingers crossed.

Great TR - I certainly won't be bothering with the QP in BKK next time, the EK lounge is miles better by the looks.

Thanks for the trip report - a short break though it was for you. We could travel along with you :D and enjoy the experience.

Home now? And getting ready for another full on work year no doubt.

Mm. Decided against NY this year. Still doing Europe at this stage. I've worked mainly points for J class except Syd - Hk which is in Y+ and a day flight. Travelling a mix of Q,CX and SQ for around $5000.

In the champagne thread, just before Christmas BlackCat alerted people to an amazing Taittinger offer at Dan Murphy's - $37 a bottle. I jumped in and bought 6. I havent had one yet  but have given a couple away as Christmas gifts.

Yesterday I gave one of my Taittingers to the lady in charge of the cattery when we collected Mikko.

She was so excited as she knew it was quality drinking and real champagne. Her only other comment was that if it was chilled she would have had it last night as yesterday they received torrential rain that basically put the fire out. So much celebration.

Mikko was a grumpy cat. He has eaten so much food since we collected him although he hadn't lost weight so not a problem. He just likes having his own space, much like our son who is his owner - but who is currently in Manila!

But here he is back home again.

Some more photos from the flights. Love being able to use the phone on take-off and landing in Australia.

Grabbed this pic of the men in blue blazers (you need to zoom) who are part of the English one day cricket team here for the tri series and the World Cup. They were making their way to Sydney Qantas Club.

But I'm now just 140 credits from GOLD...

I reckon this is one of my fav photos from that QM trip Dame. The crossing of the Equator.

Can you tell I'm going to miss that trip together?

It was fun! But it will be MrP sharing the next cruise so fun as well.

Cat looks happy to be home.

Will you get your 140 next trip or does your year expire before then?
