Today I spent a few hours in the BNE Biz lounge, the bakery section was operating and were making available some quiche pies and sausage rolls, asked for some tomato sauce and was told they had to check the kitchen and came back "we don't have tomato sauce"
On way out I mentioned this "un Australian thing" of not having tomato sauce and he agreed with me that it did not seem right and claimed it would be fixed by the next time i returned. Walking past QC, I stepped in and surveyed the food area and asked an attendant if they had tomato sauce, NO was the response but I was offered some chutney.

Went and boarded my flight on an E190 in Business and was offered the standard 1 choice meal for the short sector flights, which turned out to be some type of pie on a plate with the choice of a drink.
Again the pie was "just a pie" with nothing else and again, no sauce was available.
Maybe a bit "un Australian" not to have tomato sauce to go on "anything"
A couple of weeks ago, i was also in the same lounge around breakfast time and asked where was the bacon as they had an offering of scrambled eggs and small sausages, but strangely enough i do recall if there was tomato sauce available for the scrambled eggs ?
i was told that they no longer offered bacon?

PLEASE BRING BACK BACON

I was in Business on the A380 and they had no vegemite once....Spirit of Australia....bah!

Pies/sausage rolls must come with sauce....neither should be served on a plane due to the mess/crumbs, but that is as good as it gets on Q Dom these days.

I agree about the bacon as well.
