Hi i hope someone can help us as Virgin Australia have been absolutely hopeless and said they did not give that information out over the Phone!!!!

My wife is carrying heavy luggage and i do not want to drop her off at one end of Sydney domestic when her check in is at the other end.
I also got no help from the Sydney airport website!

There's signs for drop off for each respective airline. I believe Virgin is one of the first (don't quote me on that).

Yes, VA is the first airline as you drive up the drop off level ramp. You can park in Valet if you'd like and you'll be pretty much right next to check-in. You can pre-book parking online and save a bit of money too.

T2 (Terminal 2), upper level roadway (departures level), first few doors that you see once you get to the terminal drop off area (as you walk inside - the VA check in desks are on the left through to the middle of the terminal, you will see the bank of Jetstar desks off to the right).

I personally think that the website Sydney Airport is very informative and I think if you cannot find all the information you need to find something as simple as where the terminals are you personally are not really looking too closely. All airlines websites explain pretty well where there flights leave from and with the assistance of maps on the airlines website and also the airport website (as above) it is pretty much clear to the average person. Sorry, just cause you can't find something out, don't blame everyone else.

This is the key bit of info. Get dropped off in front of the first half of the 'Virgin terminal'. If you get dropped off at the far end (as you drive in) , SWMBO will be toting her stuff half the length of the building, and through a possible crowd to boot. Therefore don't just:

Look for the signs for virgin australia?

... as that may take you to the very far end where the 'Premium' signs and entry are.
