When will online checkin (OLCI) return for international flights?

Any views on this?
I appreciate it will depend on which airline and where the flight is going
Is any airline departing australia permitting OLCI yet?

My research indicates JQ and VA don’t allow it to any international destination though I can’t confirm that

I did all online checkins from Oz through Europe and back last month. On KLM, MH, and BA.

OLCI is generally available already but not always able to get the BP - depending on destination (but that list is getting smaller).

I flew Scoot SYD-SIN in biz last month and was able to do online checkin and print a boarding pass without problem.

At the gate I was called out to have my docs checked, as were others. Enjoyed The House lounge (via Diners card) while waiting for boarding. Quite civilized, really.

And further to that, I flew QZ SIN-CGK and was also able to get a boarding pass on the AirAsia app without a problem. There are carriers out there that are customer friendly and others that aren't. I'm looking at you JQ/3K.

QF was “See checkin” flying SYD-CGK the other day. But so was CX flying CGK-HKG-LHR but that appears to be a CGK thing…

BA LHR-LIS all normal.
