Hi all,

I have an award booking coming up and there's a chance I won't know whether I am travelling or not until 90 mins or so before departure. Hopefully I know before then, however I may not...

Does anybody know the last opportunity to cancel an award online? Is the 24 hours before departure, before checkin closes etc?

Thanks,
Thiz

You can do it up to the last minute. The only thing though, if you have checked in online, do call them to let them know you have cancelled and won't be boarding.

I had to do this a couple of years ago, where we had checked in online 24 hours prior to the flight the next day. When I tried to get up the following morning my back had given out and I couldn't move. I cancelled the flight online about two hours prior, but they still called to see where I was, as I hadn't boarded.

Great. Thanks for that data point.
