Just having a thought while I have dinner by myself in China and thought I'd ask. Does it increase when you travel? Before work? During work?

Personally for me I find I use the app much more when away as i am at the moment.

When home it's mainly later at night winding down but done via computer.

Any time but more often if I have something to share or am looking for information.

Much more when traveling. In fact most often in an airline lounge.

Now's a good time, have just finished work and I'm winding down before getting a few hours sleep.

Planning a trip most of all then on my return giving back to the community!

I tend not to use the app all that much apart from reading - don't tend to post due to typing on a phone being a PITA. Even with Swype - the wrong word has a bad habit of cropping up.

During lunch hours. It depends on what I'm doing whilst I'm traveling. I'll typically look at AFF whilst waiting at airports, but once I'm at my destination, unless I'm sitting around the hotel with not a lot to do (or I'm again at lunch) I tend to be doing stuff whilst traveling.

During lunchtime, or anywhere from 8pm til 11pm. Funny thing is I used to watch a lot of TV, but I now tend to spend that same time on AFF instead which is a much more productive use of my time.

Pretty much quite regularly during the day. There's always something to learn and find out about, but importantly, once in a while there are limited time mistake fares where timing is of the essence and if you don't see it when it first gets published, you might miss out.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

I'll browse via the app during down time (on the train, waiting for appointments etc) but tend to only contribute while at my desk when I need a break (unless it's a short reply that's easy to tap out on the phone).

What's the definition of active? I rarely go a day without logging in and reading posts & trip reports.

Whenever I feel like I've been grounded for too long and miss the smell of jet fuel.

AFF is my quick-fix travel hit.

To be honest it's when I'm travelling alone as it helps me feel connected. But on a day to day basis I log on first thing in the morning along with my other social media and check up once or twice during the day or evening.

I'm like straight on to it when a news story drops. First reaction is that someone on the forum surely has something extra to tell. Otherwise it goes Facebook-Twitter-AFF-foxsports then reluctantly my online banking to bring me down to earth..
