What's your idea of the worst possible nightmare commercial flight?

This happened back in 2013 flying on China Southern Airlines from BNE-CAN-CTU when weather delayed the connection. Ok, masks were not compulsory then. But we boarded the connecting flight at 0230 and didn't depart till 0430.
Thanks @drcam , good to know some things were pretty ordinary a decade ago!!

Ignoring the obvious crashing into the ground and everyone been killed scenario, I have personally been on a few flights which would qualify for nightmare status.

In each case the FA hated their job, and had no problems telling you that fact. So:

Candidate 1 - AA MIA-LAX in Y. No IFE, it was on a rather squishy 757, the FAs probably scolded half the pax, they got upset with me because I was buying a can of coke and a cookie with cash, this was still in the days that cash was accepted.

Candidate 2 - BA ORD-LHR in Y. At least there was OK IFE, however the flight attendant looking after our section again did not want to be there. Thanks to AA stuffing up the check-in (I was connecting from an AA flight), I was put into something like 53F, right at the back of the 747, in one of the final rows of 4 and in the very middle of the row of 4. The most memorable moment was when the FA forgot to ask our row if we'd like tea / coffee with breakfast. When we call her back and said she'd forgotten she stormed off in a huff because she then had to actually do work. (That amongst other things).

I've also had a few where there have been unpleasant pax for whatever reason, but nothing YouTube worthy.

Dubai to Melbourne in 2019, had an empty seat on the London leg, then at Dubai had a passenger join who about an hour in displayed signs of manic intoxication. After having what can only be described as a meltdown they called for a doctor who examined the contents of their bag and determined they had taken way too much of everything they had. Prescription and non, plus alcohol. They tried to calm them for what seemed like hours only for her to fall unconscious. She was monitored for an hour or two, until such time as she awoke and proceeded to accuse me of rifling through all her stuff (as it was everywhere due to her episode and crew intervention). Proceeds to spend the balance of the flight alternating between calling the crew to demand answers and swearing at me under her breath for being a thief. A great end to a nice holiday.

Could've been ... I should really get my headache checked out ... keeps happening almost every week on average ...
Please do get it checked. It’s probably nothing, and it’s easy to dismiss because headaches are so common, but sometimes headaches are a sign of something serious that needs medical attention. Or something that can be fixed easily like needing glasses or glasses adjusted, grinding teeth at night etc etc.

PS I am not a medical doctor, just want to support you in your health decision which seems sensible to me!
