Whats your EDR lifetime total points haul

I showed post 35 to my office partners and it really gave them a big chuckle. Well done Nick you are in my Hall of Fame !
Perth shopping hours are changing from this weekend so we are welcoming in the 21st century over here in the West.
But can we catch up on our lifetime EDR points haul?
Glad it gave you and your partners something to laugh over Cove though on the basis of earlier posts, you could certainly teach me a lot more than I could you.

We have a drinks machine too at our largest warehouse where we sell at $1 per can. That is why they loved your post!
Stay in touch as frequent flyer points is a great game.
Are you on 5% gift cards...with little nicks that is fun too as it cuts your cost of living. I do Coles ones for the olds and Woolies ones for us out of National Seniors or RACWA. I put the purchase on Woolies EDR CC mostly.
When you redeem you blip the EDR as you start to score your bonuses.

Cove, WOW here in ADL are really making wish card users really welcome, small touches as circling on the receipt the remaining balance left on the card... there must be a few people doing the 5% RAA shuffle here so this method of payment is becoming more frequent I believe.

Gone are the days paying cash or credit card at any WOW branded store, Woolworths must be on a winner too, money up front ensures a captive audience, they work on the assumption that some of these cards will not get fully used, or some will get lost, hence the 5% discount is "covered" in their minds.

I can't believe it took me so long to grasp the available savings, I should have listened to cove earlier

This weekend in ADL its 10cpl off fuel voucher when $50 qualify ($47.50 Wish Card), going to split the shopping to harvest some vouchers. Using the voucher and paying for the fuel with 5% off Wish cards is a great way to turbo charge the savings while earning some nice QFF booty as well...!

i.e.
Supermarket = ($50 - 5%) = $47.50 Spend = 67 QFF includes CC spend for the wish card
Woolworths Petrol With 10cpl voucher converted to points= ((~100L @ $1.35)-5%)= $128.25) = 628 QFF includes CC spend for the wish card

$9.25 Saved
695 QFF Earned

All just doing the normal weekly shopping and filling up both cars :p

Total Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned from Woolworths products :

My statement came through overnight.
DeKa:
WW 600 points (you can see I've been shopping at Coles)
BWS zero! (no wonder the BWS manager nearby looks at me as I walks past...)
BigW 70 - only bought things I need
Caltex 2300 - all the high value fuel vouchers turned into points
Bonus - 550 - nearly 10 times less than normal.

MrsDeKa
WW 980
BWS 60 - we did have a bonus points offer or two for BWS on this card
BigW 130 - spend for the valentines bonus offer and a few others
Caltex zero - as I always fill up the car
Bonus - 2500 - not complaining, but very low.

Latest statement results.
Me, WW 181, Big W 80, bonus points 638.
I also collected a $10 big w bonus gift card as part of their christmas promotion.
Partner, WW 41, no bonus points but picked up the $15 Easter gift card.

Almost embarrassed to admit I've only accrued a shade over 5000.

With our HelloFresh food deliveries, and the fact that we don't use the car that much there are minimal opportunities to rack the points up.

Plus, I hardly ever receive the EDR promos (though receive heaps of Coles ones....not that I ever use them)

Since Dec 2010, 25K on EDR card + 73K on CC. Don't seem to get many WW promos though. Still haven't had the meat promo this week that most others got.

Promos often dry up because the company is happy with your purchases, a hint is to change the way they are capturing this data to show you suddenly stopping that activity ;), Coles has some attractive sales figures at present, the panic button will be pushed at WOW to finish off the year as best they can.

I have only accrued 2970 EDR points over 5 years, I really have to learn to get the most out of these EDR's.

To me that is incredible, how large is your family? Can you please give me an example of what you are buying?

I looked the other day and was around 47k since I joined EDR, and think I joined as soon as it started, but can't recall it being 2008 for points...

Samh I joined June 2008 and I'm sure the card was available before that.

Fuel (Woolworths) ~$100 p/w
Groceries (Woolworths) ~$200 p/w
General Merchandise (Big W) ~$50-~$100 p/w
Liquor (BWS) ~$75 p/w

However a big chunk of points were gained with "select" purchases which ended up with a "macro" points haul ;)
