It was recently pointed out to me by a colleague that 9A on a Boeing 737 does not have a window, but 9F on the opposite side does. I'm not sure if this is the case for all Boeing 737's, but on a recent flight I checked it out myself as I walked past to the back of the plane, and yes, it was the case.

So does anyone know why there is a window at 9F but not 9A?
