What's happened to row 2?

Looking at some seat allocations in F on a QF 747-400.

1A & 1K are blocked so no problems there.

2A & 2E are available. 2F & 2K are not even displaying (ie. there are no seat icons displaying, only blank spaces).

So what's happening with row 2?

What's the flight?

Could be a code-shared flight where the other airline controls those seats and they are only displayed on their seatmap.

Might be other reasons too, but that would be my first guess.

Mal beat me to it, sounds like a code-share is taking those seats. This was discussed at length in a similar thread last year.

Yeah, that flight is codeshared with SA as SA7701.

The seating behaviour you mentioned has been seen on this route before, although SA F seatmaps aren't easily available.

In the J cabin as an example, SA has:
16 AB
18 AB
23 JK
24 JK
25 JK

and the corresponding seats on the Qantas seatmap are missing.
