5 or 6 seats across on the seating plan??

No question - 5 seats. More pitch, should have Personal IFE, and are generally in the newer lot of the 767's.

Only problem is that there are only 4 of these birds left, so they are prone to the late swap.

why do you ask the question? Quite obviously 5 seats across is better for seat width. But maybe you are interested in a different issue?

Some airlines have 6 seats across but vastly more leg room than airlines with 5 seats.

Last time I flew a QFi 767 in J (April Per-Mel) the PTV screens had been pulled out of the armrest in the Dreamtime seats.

I asked because sometimes there an older version of J and you can tell the older from the newer ones buy the seating plans.

LOL - love how VA are advertising on the above sites:cool:

Another that likes the 5 over 6.....but I'll take any 767 over 737.

I don't think VA advertise on it directly, as when you click the link, it first comes up with a googleads url.

Ah ok. But I'm not sure that holds true with QF 767s. There is old international business - 1+2+2 seating, and old domestic business 2+2+2. That's about it (except the international should have old PTVs available in J)

A330s on the other had have 'new' and 'newer-but-worse' versions of domestic J, (2+2+2 vs 2+3+2 with the middle unsold).

As previously mentioned, it's not the 'new' or 'old' config its 'domestic' and 'international' configs. You do occasionally get lucky and get the international config on a domestic sector, but it's an exception (I've had like 2-3 over the years, and 50-60 of the domestic configs).
