Out of the sky and onto the water, I am on a cruise ship that left the Seychelles 16 days ago, stopped in Columbo for bunkering and resupply where no one came on board or hopped off as Sri Lanka had closed it borders to cruise passengers.
We were heading to Asia previously but with current situation this was changed to direct to Broome where we were supposed to arrive thismorning and then around Aus.
Yesterday with the new govt policy of no cruise ships we changed course and headed for Fremantle, arriving in a few days.
Any suggestions on what will happen to A, Australian residents B Other nationals.
The ship is on a world cruise that departed MIA on Jan 3 and was not due back to SFO untill end of May.
Two days ago the company announced that the cruise would be ending in Fremantle and all pax disembarked and flown home at company expense,
