What was Captain's Club with Qantas ?

You've piqued my interest so I did some searching, here's an excerpt from a 12 year old thread on FT.

Captains Club was the Qantas Club equivalent when Qantas was a purely international airline, and so were only in international terminals.

The domestic clubs, belonging to the airline which later became part of Qantas, Australian Airlines (previously known as TAA), were called Flight Deck.
 
They were on board as well . Quite swish menus


Had to look up Duckling Montmerency..... not a big cherry fan, so skip that.

The 'air chef' only cooked eggs?

All very swish 1970's grub. Sure you could have a cigar with coffee and port to, :rolleyes:
