What to do with Hilton Points

Hi,

I have approx 14.5k HH points in my account from a stay earlier this year. I don't travel a great deal for business and the few places i do don't have Hilton's.

So question is.. what can i do with these points? They're not due to expire until December next year so there's no rush.

you can purchase points but I don't think great value (quite expensive compared to discounted hotels - only useful for rack rate)

many of the more touristy hotels have a 20k points plus pay system ($60-80) per night

I used this in Macau

If you redeem an award and you do not have enough points, there's an immediate "purchase" offer to make up the shortfall.
