What to do with bags for 15hrs in Hong Kong

Fleetz, I have done this several times now i.e 0700 arrival and 23.30 departure. Suggest you go into Hong Kong for the day. Do a trip on the Harbour, catch the tram to the Peak and look at the shops. All very easily done when leaving the airport at 0800 and back by 1800. Also no problems getting exit out of the airport when in Transit. The train is all very easy to navigate with little stress involved. Look on the net re Star Ferry's and trips on the harbour.

I did an early am... mid afternoon HKG transit...on separate tickets and alliances. Arrived on NZ, departed on CX.

Was MOST impressed to find that CX would check my bags in the morning for a PM flight... (Award flight in J using QFF points)

I then dropped my rollaboard and laptop off at the left luggage (right up the end of the terminal) and had a nice day in town...

Couldn't have been less hassle... hope it's the same for you!

I did that is September and there was no way close to the end of the trip that we were going to do any sightseeing in HKG. Lucky I booked a cheap hotel for the night and checked in at midday and checked out early at 8:00pm. The rest was fantastic.

Plenty of time later to take a look around HKG that does not involve an early morning arrival and late night departure....

As JohnK states. You will probably be tired so I suggest you do not try to do too much. Hotel room sounds like a good option. It probably also depends uponwhich class you are flying though.
