Kew Gardens open at 10am.

Another reason Kew Gardens is looking like a better option than Windsor Castle. ..at the latter we have to leave our carry ons at the cloak room whereas with the former we can just take it with us:)

Or if you don't want to wheel your bags around with you, get the Chauffeur to drop you off at the Elizabeth or Victoria gates where there are left luggage lockers.

Kew Gardens might be another option....opens at 10am, and can easily get there and back by tube....also allows time for a nice hot shower to freshen up after the long flight from Sydney and breakfast at the AA Arrivals lounge :)

Ah yes! I'd forgotten that as an option. Another excellent idea. We spent a fabulous half a day there filling in time when waiting for a 9pm QF F flight a few years ago.

It was a lovely sunny day in London 3 weeks ago when we visited Kew Gardens from 1030-1230 :). Cost £14 online (or £15 at gate). Because we had to change underground lines, it took us about 45 minutes each way from Lhr, including 10 minutes walk from Kew Gardens underground station. Some pictures:
