Kew Gardens open at 10am.

Or if you don't want to wheel your bags around with you, get the Chauffeur to drop you off at the Elizabeth or Victoria gates where there are left luggage lockers.

Ah yes! I'd forgotten that as an option. Another excellent idea. We spent a fabulous half a day there filling in time when waiting for a 9pm QF F flight a few years ago.

It was a lovely sunny day in London 3 weeks ago when we visited Kew Gardens from 1030-1230

. Cost £14 online (or £15 at gate). Because we had to change underground lines, it took us about 45 minutes each way from Lhr, including 10 minutes walk from Kew Gardens underground station. Some pictures:
