What to do in Cyprus?

Looking at a quick three night visit to Cyprus - so trying to see as much as I can in such little time.

Also any hotel recommendations? preferably with a nice pool and easy access to the town (so I can explore, wine and dine).

Many years since I was there but I remember the Roman ruins at Kourion and their tombs cut into the rock at Makronissos. Definitely get in a car and go up the Troodos mountains, near Mt Olympus, stopping at a couple of villages-with-a-view for whatever tipple takes your fancy. There are some fantastic beaches, but can't remember details now, sorry .

Visit the old copper mines :mrgreen: 'Cyprus' means 'copper'!
