What I ate today - the food thread

Enroute to our short break on the Granite Belt I had a hankering for BBQ Ribs.

In Warwick, the Bluebird Cafe and Smokehouse sounded like it would get the job done, but sadly no.

Ribs only in the evening. 😩

It was a clear warning sign.

But we decided to eat there anyway.

#fail

I went for the pork, around half of which was fat and skin. Presumably from the whole hog cooked the previous night.

Mrs H had the brisket taco.

It was tiny. A grand total of two bites.

While Miss H opted for the brisket loaded fries.

The puddle of oil at the bottom was enough to cook another 20kg of fries.

Club Intercontinental, Bangkok tonight. Had been introduced to the Executive Chef working in the club now. So tonight he asked if I liked Indian food. I told him about the extra spicy lamb Rogan Josh I had on the cruise.
So he asked if I really did like very spicy dishes and I said of course. So would you like to try my spicy butter chicken. Indeed I would.
