I was originally booked in 35 J/K on the Qantas A380 with my girlfriend and all of a sudden I check my Qantas app and I’m sitting in 66K whilst she’s still up in 35K

35K is the exit row on the upper deck of the old A380 configuration. You aircraft was swapped to the new configuration, so QF moved you to exit row 66. Seat 79H and K are still available, so if I were you I'd call QF and get reseated there if you want to sit together.
