What do you expect to hear next week at the QF results announcement?

New routes and aircraft to cheer QFi getting better or more cost cutting etc?

Don't know about QF but I'm willing to bet sometime in the next 12 months EK start a DXB-SIN-ADL service citing strong loads on the new direct DXB-ADL flight. I'd be saying the same for HKG-PER if it wasn't for EK just going to triple direct daily.

/sarcasm on/

I expect to hear a whole lot of promises that never eventuate.

Same as other years really.....

I expect to see a dramatic turnaround in QFi and for some inexplicable reason an increase in fuel and maintenance cost at JQ.

- Boasting about how the EK partnership will save QFi when all it really does it provide more destinations in Europe
- Possible 'enhancements' to JNB, NRT and CGK routes (I think these will be next on the chopping block)
- Increase in JQi routes in line with 787 deliveries
- No narrow-body QFd cost-to-coast (has this already been announced?)
- Possible wet-leased 777s from EK to replace 747s.
- Possible commencement of new services to KUL now that MH are OW (though unlikely)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I do expect QFi to see a major turnaround - if it doesn't then AJ and SH will have failed in their objectives.

i expect to see more bogus customer satisfaction results like last year - this time lauding that people 'love' the axing of SIN-LHR, ADL-SIN, PER-SIN etc

I expect a lot of the above with heavy doses of spin.....

I'll bet they're hoping they can announce regulatory approval to fly to DXB etc.

Hopefully no enhancements to the frequent flyer program.

How could they have possibly turned it around, especially considering the keystone of the plan doesn't even come into play for another 6 weeks or so?

AA taking over SYD-DFW with the 77W and the QF code share in J is $2000 more than if you booked on the AA flight number? Alliances are all the rage with AJ at the moment!
