Qantas isn't planning to buy any at this stage.
I'm not flying Virgin until they return to wide bodied aircraft anyway.
My favourite destinations are in Europe and Airbus (obviously) dominates there.
Airbus also seems to dominate in South America.
So Asia is probably the only region in which I am going to need to choose my flights carefully.
If I want to avoid the death trap!

FedEx is actively flying MD11's at least to Sydney. The screen capture is as of now.Courier companies seem to have been flying MD11's for decades since all those DC10's fell out of the sky, for example ... come to think of it I've not seen one flying into Sydney in the last year or two (maybe they finally did fall out of the sky?).
