What can I do with 5500 Krisflyer points?

I am not planning to use Singapore airlines again before these expire, and it appears way too little a number of points to do points plus pay. So do I just forget them? Or any other advice? can I donate to charity?

An intra-Asia flight is 25,000 KrisFlyer miles return or 12,500 KrisFlyer miles one way and with 15% online discount this should come down to 21,250 KrisFLyer miles or 10.625 KrisFlyer miles + taxes and surcharges. To purchase 6,000 KrisFlyer would cost ~USD240 so it is more than likely worth going down this path.

Not sure if you can donate to charity but I have let small balances expire in the past.
