What border officials know about you

From all of the media reports of people being turned around due to something that they have posted on facebook etc I think we can safely assume that U.S. border control is actively monitoring social media accounts, and they probably know if you watched the latest episode of South Park too!

I watched the excerpt (funny as f…) prior to boarding a flight to the US. Entered no probs (as expected).

She got the dreaded Centrelink letter (she showed me) which said your kids didn’t come back so we cut off your Family Tax Benefit
She had to go to the C office with the kids to say “I’m pretty sure Immigration got that wrong!”

I had a similar experience many years ago. Had to laugh that were concerned about money 7 months later, not that I had potentially left my 1yr old behind overseas.
