1. Being able to get the room dark - can't sleep unless its nice and dark
2. Powerpoint access next to the bedside table so the phone/ipad is able to charge overnight and be within reach for me to slap the alarm off
3. a nice pool or if no pool at least a bath tub in the room

and I suppose good wifi connection would be the next one....

1. Bose Sound dock
2. Quality Slippers
3. Turndown Service with obligatory chocolates.

I actually wish more had a usb style charging device.

I only took my iPhone USB cable to SYD last trip (to use in the car) and despite having a lovely suite with 3 TVs with USB sockets, none could charge the iPhone. My Samsung at home can charge, yet the Samsung at the Hilton couldn't.

HSP actually have docking type clock radios which are nice too.

(If anyone wonders why I didn't take the charger, the reason is I have 3 kids and a +1 all with multi-iType devices and the chargers frequently disappear into a black hole. Most likely somewhere on the other side of the universe, is a barren planet with a pile of iPhone chargers, an assortment of keys and a few dozen single socks from my house)

1. Sufficient power points in useful locations (near bed-side table, desk etc)
2. A iron (and ironing board) that works and has a clean base
3. TV remote control that works and is somewhat intuitive

For me it is:

1. Comfortable king size bed.
2. Airconditioning that will actually make the room cold or warm. depending on seasons.
3. A stand alone shower, with decent water pressure.

They are my stand out needs for any hotel.

However two additional wishes would be:

Adequate easily accessible power points, near the desk, and near the bedside table.
Decent lighting, HSW is noticeable for inadequate room lighting.

1. Exec lounge.
2. Dark room/ full control over all room lighting.

Don't really have a 3rd over anything else. offhand.

You could always ask housekeeping, I bet each hotel has a stack of chargers left behind.

True. I was probably too eager to get to the lounge!

I left my Samsung phone charger at home when we stayed at HSP last month.
Went down to the Concierge and he had a huge collection to suit all phone types available.

Obviously housekeeping doesn't know about it. A couple of weeks ago i caught a staffer charging her phone on my charger at hsp when I walked in on her cleaning the room. She got a fright and ran out of the room and left her phone. Had to come knocking to ask for it back.

1. My gorgeous partner
2. A bath (because my partner loves a bath)
3 A separate lounge, because that means we've been upgraded to a suite

Hi powered, hot temperature shower. None of this dribble under a tap shower that most hotels have going on right now. I really don't care about the environment, I care about my relaxing shower.

Most of these wishes go for hotels of any brand but I find that Hilton is quite often a culprit when it comes to the following:

-A proper King Sized bed, rather than one of those fake ones which is actually two single beds with an additional mattress thrown over it. In my experience, Hilton does the latter in about 50% of cases and even if I'm traveling with my partner. The otherwise beautiful Hilton in Fiji is one prime example for this
-A decent choice on the room service menu. Sorry, but the Signature Hilton Hamburger or whatever it's called is just not doing it for me, particularly if you are in a place in Asia or similar.
-And finally, Turndown service you don't have to ask for. Some Hiltons do it, some don't.
