Not sure if this belongs in the Krisflyer or Velocity sections so posting it here. My mother in law is accompanying us on our trip to Asia in April and while I was able to get 4 J redemptions with SQ, she is flying in Y as there were no J redemptions left by the time she decided to join us. I am Velocity Gold so can guest her into the lounge in BNE, however in SIN my understanding is she won't be able to accompany us into the Silverkris lounge? Anyone have experience guesting someone into the Silverkris lounge in this situation? My plan is to get my kids to ask the lounge dragon (with their best sad faces on) to let their Nanna in......

Sorry to revive an old thread but I thought I'd post the outcome which might help somone else with a similar situation. Basically my mother in law was allowed access to Silverkris lounge in terminal 2 (in transit to KL) and in terminal 3 on the way back to BNE. Just showed my velocity gold card and no problems. However I was told this is the exception rather than the rule, and they allowed it so we could stay together as a group. Nice work SQ.
