I thought it was an anathema to request shiraz only and was punishable by being struck off the list?

Buying for the sake of buying (and the hype just to say you scored some). What fantastic marketing. But congrats for scoring 6 of the Shiraz. You got to be happy with that.

I know there's the mystic and desire to get on the list etc. but there's a truck load of aged Wendouree at auction, for really not much more than current mailing list $

There’s a lot of bottles on that site that are past actions and “unsold”. Does that mean there’s a reserve that hasn’t been met?

I’m on the list now and have received orders for the last 3 vintages, but wouldn’t mind tasting an older bottle.

I don't get the hype for the Shiraz. Nice wine and all but I'd take either of the Cabernet wines over it any day. Viva la difference!
