My express-posted order form was lost 2years ago. I just called the winery and explained why I was checking. They were able to quickly tell me it hadn’t been received and organise a replacement form. No fuss at all.

Yep I was panicking over nothing. Called and confirmed they've got my form, they reckon the post shop might've missed scanning the letter out.

They won't say what's allocation's going to be like this year but I did indicate a little bit of everything would be better than absolutely nothing.

Mate from Clare picked mine up last week. They were organising by state, when finished for the state, couriers would pick up. Funny feeling when you get the wine, knowing it’s 10 years or so before you drink, tempers the excitement a little

Card now charged - looks like I am getting 2/3 of my order - and throwing bottle prices around to match the CC charge, it looks like the wines that were reduced are the wines I wanted most. (Shiraz and Cabernet Malbec)

To save all of the back and forward with requests for further information, can I suggest that if you want to post about your current ordering experience then you include the following in your post:

1) When your credit card was debited

2) Which state you live in

3) Your crayon status

4) Your speculation as to how the charge on your order relates to the order you placed.

For me it just means that I get to open my 2009's :)

Is that what you asked for?

what’s your “crayon status”?
Red crayon
Ordered 6 shiraz and 6 shiraz mataro - ordered 3 of everything else.

For further reference another Adelaide based red crayon friend ordered 6 Shiraz, 6 Shiraz Mataro and 6 Cab Malbec - his card was also charged today and looks like he got 4 of each of those

Great knowledge bank here. I feel like an expert in 45mins after enjoying reviewing these posts.

I am not sure if it has been mentioned in previous pages (I did skip a few) however is there any advice on how to progress up the priority list?

Is it through larger purchases or simply time to move through your "crayon status"??

Not sure if anyone progress up the list by any means other than patience, time and loyalty

I'd also add, buy a spread of the wines, e.g. not just shiraz
Having started on the list a couple of years ago, the Shiraz has been off limits anyway - seems first few years the blends are your friends in terms of what comes through from an order
