Weird Jetstar booking issues

I am looking for flights ADL-HNL return for May next year. Bizarrely, the website will show the flights to HNL, but shows no options at all for the return. A similar search through Qantas shows the relevant JQ flights in both directions. I can't get the Jetstar website to show the return flights for months either side. Any ideas.

In addition, I am having a problem where if I can select a departing and returning flight, when I try to click the continue button, it tells me I need to select flights, even though I have clearly done so. I am using safari on a mac. Is this a problem with other systems? It doesn't happen with all searches, but when it happens it is consistent and repeatable for me.

On top of all of that, I am concerned about my points and status credits for JQ777 this morning. My itinerary and boarding pass said 'starter', even though the whole trip to Singapore and back was booked StarClass (and converted to Business Max). In three calls to the call centre they said it showed in the booking system as a business booking, but the documents all say starter. I want my 40SC, am I likely to have to fight for them?

It seems the problem is that from 1 May 2012, the last JQ flight SYD-ADL is JQ764 dep SYD 10:55 but JQ 4 HNL-SYD arrives at 15:50 so there's no JQ connection available HNL-SYD-ADL. JQ 766 dep SYD 1710 disappears from 1 May 2012.

That's probably why you could book it via QF as it offers SYD-ADL connections on QF.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks Anchew. It makes sense, but it is completely opaque to the user. It would be useful if they could say something as simple as 'no connecting flights to Adelaide that day'. Because the return flights don't show at all, I can't even see (easily) that the flight lands in Sydney late at night.
