Hi there,

Any recommended site to try for a CHEAP ticket: L.A to Seattle 21st May?
Time of day not an issue.

Regards

Book via the airline direct, use Orbitz/Expedia to compare prices and save time.

Cheapest appears to be Virgin America with 3 afternoon/evening flights for $110US. Not bad a for a last minute price.

Hi all,

Appreciate the reply.
Used DOHOP.com which transfers you to priceline.com after telling you costs.
Then you end up at airline website and a direct flight was looking at $179(taxes) and then $25 for baggage....so close $194 all up.

Anyone knows anyway cheaper let me know.
Found that Saturday was cheaper but need that Friday flight!

Check Southwest.com...if you don't mind one-stop flight! It is the only US airline that permits two free check-in bags. Jetblue also flies from Long Beach to Seattle and you get one free check in bag.

Tried Kayak and found a $158.40 (plus bag charge of $25) on US airways 1-stop via PHX. Depart LAX at 9.55am and arrive SEA 4.26pm on 21/05/10. From Kayak you can select which booking site (ie Expedia, Orbitz) to book it. I then tried a dummy booking on US airways site and it priced out at the same price so you could book it direct with the airline. There were also different flight times with similar prices ($137 + taxes)
