Can someone help me out here in regards the Velocity website?

I am looking for a statement as to when my status credits have previously expired ( I can see my current and future points)

I have just had a trip from January credited to my account (!) and it should have taken my up over the 1000 points. Since then, however, I've had some points expire and that is no longer the case.

I'd like to raise hell at Velocity over this but need to get my facts straight first. So, any idea where I can find this information on the website?

Thanks!

Give them a call explaining the late credit of status points and that some have expired and they will calculate the total manually for the previous 12 months as this happened to me back in feb.

I don't believe there is such a statement - I keep a spreadsheet of my own to determine things like rolling totals from a given date. Per hydrabyss, I'd just call them.

I'd suggest you use the "view all activities" link at the bottom right of the "Latest Activities" box and enter month and year info to bring up your relevant flights taken. The SCs are on a rolling 12 month validity so you'll be able to manually count up the SCs you had at the time you took the late posting flights and use that info to argue the point with VA. There was a thread here on AFF some many months ago where I'm pretty sure a Velocity rep replied that in cases like yours VR will listen and act on the logic presented and I'm pretty sure that has been confirmed by others in your position.

Thanks everyone. I've been in touch and there's a some dispute about the level that I would have reached if the points were credited in a reasonable timeframe. I'll have to go through my activity statement manually and try to make sense of it all.

Yes, my partner had a similar issue. (Gold-qualifying flight [on Delta] didn't post, and 40 old status credits expired 3 days after the qualifying flight; we had to make a retroactive claim after the old credits expired. Two calls to Velocity didn't sort it out. We then asked for a supervisor. Couldn't get through directly to a supervisor, but a supervisor called back an hour later, credited the retro claim, and forced a review, upgrading the status to Gold even though the account only had 480 status credits at the time of the phone call. The Gold status showed up online while still on the phone. The review date is the date the claim posted, not the date of the flight, which is a 2 week difference in this case. However, I emphasise that it did take being quite pushy to get to a supervisor who was willing to look at the account and apply common sense instead of a script.)
